I believe that if a child finds it hard to learn in class then it is up to us to facilitate learning by teaching in ways that can help them to learn. I love technology and using it as a learning and motivational tool. I totally believe that creating the right atmosphere is so important, not only in the classroom but also in the workplace. I also work as a singer-songwriter and I’m always singing, even when I teach!”

After graduating in 1994, I taught for five years in a school not far from my home and then moved to Italy where I've been teaching ever since. What I love about teaching is that I learn alongside my students and I hope to be able to inspire them to always strive for their best. Most of my free time is either spent with family and friends or reading.”

“I’m Matteo! Having lived for many years in Oxford, England I came back to Italy where I married my beautiful English wife and now we live in Pontedera. I love cooking and food (I lived and worked in Denmark as a chef for a short time), football, both watching and playing. I can often be found training hard for my 11 a side and 7 a side teams. I’m also young at heart as my passion for video games still burns bright! I love being able to share my knowledge of English and enthusiasm for teaching with my students.”
